Ordering
Is there a minimum order?
No. If you need ten business cards, order ten. Most printers will not take that job, which is precisely why we do.
How long does it take?
Most orders ship within one to three working days of artwork approval and cleared payment. Courier transit is additional. If a job will take longer we tell you before you pay.
Do I need to pay up front?
Yes. Payment is by direct bank transfer using the details shown at checkout, and production begins once payment reflects.
Can I cancel?
Any time before the job goes to print, for a full refund. Once printing has started the materials are consumed and it cannot be cancelled — so contact us immediately if you need to.
Artwork
Do I need print-ready artwork?
No. Send what you have — an Illustrator file, a PNG, a photo of a sketch — and we will tell you honestly whether it will work. See artwork guidelines.
What if I have no artwork at all?
We design as well as print. Business card design is R150, flyers and posters R200, and complex work is R350 an hour. See design & artwork.
Will you check my file?
Always, at no charge. Our designer reviews resolution, colour build, bleed and cut lines before anything prints, and comes back to you if something needs fixing. You only pay if work is actually required.
Do you proofread?
No. We check that a file will print correctly, not that the words are right. Check spelling, phone numbers and prices carefully before approving a proof — printed typos are the most common reason a job gets reprinted, and they are not covered under returns.
Print & quality
Will the colour match my screen exactly?
Not exactly. Screens emit light and paper reflects it, and different materials absorb ink differently. Small variation is normal and is not a defect. If exact brand colour matters, tell us before ordering and we will run a printed sample.
Can I return a custom-printed job?
Not on a change of mind — custom goods made to your specification are excluded from the general cooling-off right. But if the work is defective, short-shipped or not what you approved, we reprint or refund. See our refund and returns policy.
Do you keep my artwork?
Yes, so a repeat order matches your previous job exactly. We treat customer artwork as confidential and never use it in our own marketing without asking.
Specialist work
What is DTF, and do I need a heat press?
DTF is a full-colour transfer you press onto fabric. We print, you press. If you own a press, buying transfers is much cheaper than sending us garments. If you do not, we can press for you from R40 an item. See DTF transfers.
DTF or embroidery?
DTF for full colour, fine detail and small runs. Embroidery for durability and a more premium finish, with simpler artwork. We will advise honestly, and quote both if it is a close call.
Can you print building plans?
Yes — architectural plans, technical drawings and oversized prints, folded or rolled. See large format.
